Ideas for Christmas

Help!

I need some ideas for Christmas this year. My budget is tighter than normal this year and I don't really have much extra time either. I've been thinking that I'd like to find a way to make Christmas more meaningful to my family especially my immediate family of 3 sons (25, 22, & 20), my daughter-in-law and husband.

I thought about some type of power point or photo memory lane type book or whatever, but I don't think I have the time for that.

Any ideas?

I am not creative but I'll be checking back to see what others have thought up.

Homemade calendars are good and you can do that right on the computer and pick it up at the store. Office Depot does it I know. You could check it out. I'll try to think of more.

Karen, I heard of a large family here in town who all brings gift cards or money to their Christmas gatherings, then gives them all to a needy family. I'm sure clothing, quilts, food, or anything else would work like that as well.

I need to keep checking back here to see what ideas others have come up with. I haven't even given thought one to Christmas yet, so I don't have a single gift idea. My husband mentioned, though, for his parents some sort of digital photo frame. Given that I'm kind of technologicaly illiterate, I don't have a clue what that is.

I know, I'm not much help. Sorry.

I wrote up a post to provide an idea for you - a digital slide show program that has already won my hubby's seal of approval (mine too, LOL). Please hop on over to my blog!

Karen. I have been toying with the idea of printing out some of my best photos for the family this year. Framed or unframed, some of them I think they might like.

ps. Have been very inspired by Ann V on A Holy Experience (link on my blog) and am very moved by one of her blogs not long ago, about their response to a child's question about "who's birthday it was at Christmas". I am not sure whether that would be of any help in your thinking.
