In The Garden

I come to the garden alone

While the dew is still on the roses

And the voice I hear falling on my ear

The Son of God discloses.

My soul was in need of some "Garden Time" with my Lord. So I spent the morning at the Dallas Arboretum "listening" with my eyes, ears, nose, and mostly my spirit.
A sweet, sweet time!

Panther's lastest bad habit

So you all know that I really love my pets---Black Cat Panther, tabby cat Little Bit, and adorable dog, Sam.

But Panther is trying my patience these days.......

He has learned that he really likes ICE! At first he learned the sound of the refrigerator dispensing crushed ice. He will run to the frig in hopes some pieces will fall to the floor. And yes, crushed ice is preferred over cubes, but either will do.

So one day recently, I had a glass with ice in it sitting beside me in the living room. The water was just about gone, but the ice was still there. He was curious and so I took a piece out and put it on the glass coaster on the end table. He LOVED IT! But it was a HUGE mistake!

So now, my dear Panther knocks over every glass he finds to get the ice. And who says cats can't train their human servants. LOL
BTW--It's not easy to take a picture of a cat licking ice.

Hitched!

My #2 son is now a married man. It was a simple, beautiful wedding ceremony and a lovely reception. So glad for all the family and friends who were there to celebrate with us! I'll post some pictures later.
