Ahhhh! This country girl just has to play in the dirt every once in a while. So today I got myself to work a little earlier than usual and stayed focused for a while. Then I left earlier than normal while the sun was still shining. Went to my old house (which sure needs to be sold) and dug up some starts of some of my favorite flowers. I brought some daffodils, daisies, Iris, spider lilies, and garlic to plant at my new house. Ran out of daylight before getting them all planted--but it sure did my soul good to get outside in the fresh air. Maybe I can get a few more planted tomorrow before the rain comes. I'll make up my missed work time by going in for a few hours during the rain tomorrow.
Now got to get the laundry going!
