My birdie is leaving the nest!

My final birdie is leaving the nest tomorrow. My middle son, Stephen and his girlfriend bought a new house. They had the final closing today and got their keys. They were installing blinds tonight and he is moving in tomorrow. She will stay at her parents or at college until they get married next June. But it is really neat that they have taken such a major step. I'm very proud of their maturity and how they have handled everything about this purchase.

Knocking on some doors

Okay, all my blogging buddies, you can pray with me about something. We've lived in our house out in the country for 13 years. But all our kids are grown and moving on and this house and yard (1 1/2 acres) are just too big for us now. Besides that I'm tired of driving 25 min to work every day. I'm thinking I'd like to move into the area very near my office. SO....we started exploring the opportunities just a bit. We've looked at some houses and found a few that look interesting. We also had someone to look at our house that seemed interested. Our prayer is that God will either open the doors wide and make all this happen quickly or slam them shut. We are trusting that He will direct us in this process.

Photo Challenge--Shadows

I didn't get a chance to take any new pics and wasn't all that successful at finding shadow pics already available. But here a couple I found. Looking forward to being inspired with everyone else's shadow pics.

Praising God for another Research Paper Finished!

Thanks to the prayers and encouragement of many friends and family...My research paper is turned in 1 hour and 15 minutes before tonight's midnight deadline. YEAH!!!! Just 2 quizzes and a final exam in the other class before Friday noon. I think I just might survive this extremely difficult 4 1/2 weeks of summer school.
