Why I was late to work yesterday

The story goes like this---

I was checking email and blogging, etc and my son leaves for school. He comes back inside and says you gotta come look at this puppy. So hubby and I run to the door to see the cutest little, friendliest little white doggy in our yard. Stephen pets him a bit and then goes on to school. So I call the puppy who come willingly just inside the door. Hubby gets some old sandwich meat and water. The puppy gobbles it up and drinks and drinks and drinks. Then he throws up. So out on the porch the puppy goes. So then I find a puppy sized box and an old towel. I took it to the porch but ended up wrapping the puppy in the towel and hugging him to me. We end up on the couch and I think it was love at first snuggle. Hubby looks at me and says "I just love this part of you." I'm gone for sure now.

So a couple of more hours or so, I'm finally leaving for work, pictures in hand, bathed dog in the smallest room in the house in the box from the porch, and his name is SAM.

Since my son would probably be the next family member back at the house, I called him and told him what had happened. He laughed at me.

So Panther and Little Bit are less than excited about the newest famly member, but everyone else is pretty much attached.
